We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the complete accounting function of our FMCG business, including books of accounts, inventory accounting, GST compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments and will ensure accurate financial records, statutory compliance, and timely MIS reporting to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts in Tally/ERP
- Handle day-to-day accounting entries (sales, purchase, expenses, journal entries)
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books
- Maintain general ledger, trial balance, profit & loss account, and balance sheet
2. FMCG Inventory & Costing
- Manage inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and valuation
- Track raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods
- Monitor product-wise costing and gross margin analysis
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations team for stock accuracy
3. GST & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
- Handle TDS calculations, payments, and returns
- Ensure compliance with Income Tax, PF/ESI (if applicable)
- Maintain records for audits and assessments
4. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Manage vendor payments and reconciliation
- Monitor customer receivables and ageing reports
- Ensure proper accounting of credit notes, debit notes, and discounts
5. MIS & Reporting
- Prepare monthly MIS reports (sales, profit, cost, margin analysis)
- Support management with financial insights and variance analysis
- Cash flow tracking and working capital reporting
6. Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors
- Ensure strong internal controls for financial processes
- Support in budgeting and financial forecasting
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter (preferred)
- 4–7 years of accounting experience (preferably FMCG / Manufacturing)
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards
- Hands-on experience in Tally / ERP / Excel (Advanced)
- Strong understanding of inventory and cost accounting
- Good analytical and reporting skills
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
