Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to manage and supervise the truck maintenance and repair workshop. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth workshop operations, timely vehicle repairs, and proper coordination with mechanics and drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the truck repair workshop
- Supervise mechanics and technical staff
- Ensure timely servicing and repair of trucks and commercial vehicles
- Maintain records of vehicle maintenance and spare parts inventory
- Coordinate with drivers and the transport team regarding vehicle issues
- Ensure proper usage of tools and workshop equipment
- Monitor workshop safety and cleanliness
Requirements:
- Experience in truck / commercial vehicle workshop management
- Good knowledge of truck maintenance, servicing, and spare parts
- Ability to manage mechanics and workshop staff
- Basic record-keeping and reporting skills
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience
Preferred Candidate:
- Experience in transportation / logistics companies
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
