Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate should have experience assisting cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures while ensuring patient safety and the proper functioning of Cath Lab equipment.
Eligibility
- Qualification: Diploma / B.Sc. in Cath Lab Technology, Cardiac Care Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, or a related allied healthcare field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a Cath Lab.
- Experience in assisting with coronary angiography, angioplasty, and other cardiac procedures.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control practices.
- BLS/ACLS certification will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the Cath Lab before procedures.
- Assist cardiologists during angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, and other cardiac interventions.
- Operate and monitor Cath Lab equipment and imaging systems.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures.
- Maintain accurate procedure records and documentation.
- Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and infection control practices.
- Handle emergency situations efficiently during procedures.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for smooth workflow.
- Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of Cath Lab equipment.
