Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable Product Trainer to train internal teams, channel partners, and customers on Sathyam Group’s products and services (Agri inputs, Smart Farming solutions, Bio-products, etc.). The role focuses on enhancing product knowledge, improving sales effectiveness, and ensuring correct product usage across the market.
A Product Trainer is responsible for educating employees and customers about product features, benefits, and usage to ensure maximum adoption and results.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training & Development
Conduct product training programs for:
Sales teams
Agronomists / Agri Doctors
Dealers & distributors
Farmers / end customers
Deliver both Online and field-based practical training sessions
Conduct onboarding training for new employees
2. Content Creation
Develop training materials such as:
PPTs, manuals, videos, demo guides
Create region-specific and crop-specific training modules
Update training content based on new product launches
3. Product Knowledge & Demonstration
Act as a subject matter expert for all company products
Conduct live demonstrations at farms / project sites
Explain product benefits, usage, dosage, and results
4. Coordination & Support
Work closely with:
Sales Team
Marketing Team
R&D / Production Team
Support product launches and promotional activities
5. Training Effectiveness & Reporting
Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and performance
Track improvement in sales team knowledge and conversion
Submit daily/weekly/monthly training reports
6. Market & Field Engagement
Travel across Tamil Nadu for training programs
Gather feedback from farmers and field teams
Identify training gaps and improve programs accordingly
*Key Skills Required*
Strong product knowledge (Agri / Bio / FMCG / Technical products preferred)
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Ability to simplify technical concepts
Training & coaching ability
Field training and demonstration skills
Knowledge of Tamil & English (mandatory)
*Qualifications*
B.Sc / M.Sc Agriculture or related field (Preferred)
MBA (Marketing / Agri Business) – Added Advantage
5 + years experience in: Product Training / Sales Training / Agri Extension
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
