Role Overview
Rasayana Fine Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive business growth in the organic chemicals, fragrance chemicals, and aromatic chemicals segments. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and expanding market presence across South India.
The Bengaluru role will primarily focus on Kannada-speaking regions and requires frequent travel across South India.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in organic, fragrance, and aromatic chemical sectors.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
- Develop strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and industrial clients.
- Achieve sales targets and revenue growth objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Coordinate with internal technical and operations teams for customer requirements.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and business plans.
- Travel extensively across South India for client meetings and business development activities.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements.
- Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in business development or sales within chemical industries.
- Strong knowledge of organic chemicals, fragrance chemicals, and aromatic chemicals.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Kannada language proficiency is mandatory for the Bengaluru role.
- Strong client handling and relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across South India.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with prior experience in fragrance and aromatic chemical industries will be highly preferred.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
- Existing industry network and customer connections are an added advantage.
