Job Title: Java Architect (Cloud & AI)
About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Java Architect with strong expertise in cloud technologies and AI solutioning to lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical leadership, hands-on experience, and the ability to drive innovation across modern architecture landscapes
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, cloud-native architectures using Java technologies (Spring Boot, Microservices)
- Lead technical design discussions and architecture reviews across teams.
- Define best practices, coding standards, and reusable frameworks.
- Maintain active engagement with Product Owners to understand business requirements.
- Lead requirement gathering sessions and review design solutions with stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions and architectural roadmaps.
- Own and manage product backlog items and work closely with Agile teams across sprints.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of planned features.
- Perform code reviews, design reviews, and enforce engineering excellence.
- Mentor and guide team members on Java, cloud, and architecture best practices.
- Drive adoption of modern development practices (CI/CD, DevOps, microservices).
- Develop and troubleshoot applications across UI and service layers.
- Lead prototyping and proof-of-concepts for new technologies including AI solutions.
- Participate in discussions on UX, system design, and scalable architecture.
- Conduct demos and walkthroughs of features to client stakeholders.
- Showcase solutions using modern frontend and backend technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Java (8+), Spring Boot, Microservices architecture
- Extensive experience in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP – AWS preferred)
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- 3–4 years of Architect-level experience in previous roles.
- Proven ability to drive end-to-end architecture and design decisions.
- Strong mentoring and team leadership experience.
- Experience in AI solutioning, POC development, and implementation leadership.
- Ability to integrate AI/ML capabilities into enterprise solutions (GenAI exposure is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform)
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, performance optimization, and scalability
- Expertise in SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
- Experience with event-driven architecture, APIs, and messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
Good to Have
- Experience with frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, UI frameworks)
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect
- Exposure to enterprise-scale digital transformation programs
