Job Description – Android Developer
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Android Developer to join our mobile application development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-performance Android applications that provide an excellent user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, backend developers, and product managers.
- Maintain and improve application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Identify and fix bugs while continuously improving application functionality.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into Android applications.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Android Developer or Mobile Application Developer.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and mobile app architecture.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON integration.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of Material Design principles and mobile UI/UX best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Jetpack Compose, Firebase, or cloud-based services.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and mobile app deployment.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Published applications on the Google Play Store.
- Portfolio or GitHub projects showcasing Android development expertise.
