Vegetarian Riverside Café — Jibhi, Himachal Pradesh
We are looking for a Continental Cook / Commi 2 / Commi 3 / Chef to join our 100% vegetarian riverside café in Jibhi.
We’re looking for someone who is confident with Continental café food, baking, pizza & pasta, and is willing to take responsibility for both the kitchen and drinks section.
Responsibilities
- Pizza & pasta sauce preparation — Pomodoro, Alfredo & other sauces
- Pizza dough preparation and proper fermentation/handling
- Pizza preparation and baking
- Sandwich bread baking — ensuring fresh bread is always baked and ready
- Preparation of sandwiches
- Making brownies, cookies & cakes
- Chocolate banana cake
- Garlic bread
- Soups — cream-based and water-based
- Pasta & Lasagne
- Fries & baked fries
- Pancakes
- Maintaining kitchen hygiene, organisation and food quality
- Mise en place and daily kitchen preparation
- Stock awareness and minimising wastage
- Handling the drinks section when required

The candidate should be comfortable preparing:
- Americano
- Latte

- Iced Latte
- Fresh Lime Soda
- Adrak Chai

Who We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant or Continental kitchen preferred
- Commi 2 / Commi 3 / experienced cook / chef can apply
- Good knowledge of basic Continental cooking techniques
- Pizza and baking experience will be an advantage
- Able to work independently and manage daily kitchen prep
- Clean, disciplined and organised
- Willing to handle both food and beverage preparation
- Passionate about maintaining consistency and quality
