Department: Tool Room
Reports To: Tool Room Manager / Production Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Manufacture, assemble, and fit plastic injection molds as per engineering drawings.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of molds.
- Diagnose and repair mold-related issues to minimize production downtime.
- Operate tool room machines such as milling, grinding, lathe, EDM, and wire-cut machines.
- Carry out mold modifications based on engineering change requests.
- Inspect mold components using precision measuring instruments.
- Conduct polishing, fitting, and bench work to achieve required tolerances.
- Maintain mold history cards and maintenance records.
- Support mold trials and production startups.
- Monitor mold performance and recommend improvements.
- Ensure proper functioning of cooling circuits, ejector systems, sliders, and lifters.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Design departments for issue resolution.
- Follow safety procedures, 5S practices, and company quality standards.
- Manage tooling inventory, spare parts, and consumables.
Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
