We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Incharge to lead and manage the nursing team at our hospital in Bhimavaram. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of the nursing department in assigned wards/units
- Plan, assign, and monitor work of nursing staff to ensure patient care is delivered efficiently
- Ensure adherence to clinical standards, hospital protocols, and documentation requirements
- Coordinate with doctors, paramedical staff, and hospital administration for effective patient management
- Train, mentor, and guide junior nurses and newly joined staff
- Prepare duty rosters, manage shift schedules, and ensure adequate staffing
- Monitor patient safety, infection control practices, and hygiene standards
- Manage nursing inventory and requisition supplies when needed
- Address staff or patient issues promptly and escalate when necessary
- Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in patient care protocols and nursing documentation
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Knowledge of NABH or quality standards is a plus
- Comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team
- Proficiency in Telugu and/or English
