Role Overview
As a UI/UX Design Intern, you will work closely with our Founder and development team to design websites, landing pages, mobile apps, and marketing assets. You will not be making final strategic decisions alone—instead, you will learn how to take client briefs, conduct user research, create wireframes, and deliver pixel-perfect designs that align with brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- User Research & Strategy: Assist in gathering user insights, creating user personas, and mapping out user journeys for client projects.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Create low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and mockups using industry-standard tools.
- Visual Design: Design visually appealing, on-brand interfaces for websites, mobile apps, landing pages, and email templates.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Coordinator and developers to ensure smooth handoff and implementation of designs.
- Design Systems: Contribute to building and maintaining reusable UI components and design libraries.
- Quality Assurance: Review developed websites/apps to ensure design fidelity and identify visual bugs before client delivery.
- Client Presentations: Assist in preparing design decks and mockups for client presentations (under the supervision of the Founder).
Requirements & Skills
Educational Background:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design thinking and visual skills (academic projects, personal work, or freelance projects are acceptable).
Technical Skills (Must-Have):
- Design Tools: Proficiency in Figma is mandatory. Knowledge of Adobe XD or Sketch is a plus.
- Adobe Suite: Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for asset creation/editing.
- Prototyping: Experience creating clickable prototypes to demonstrate user flows.
- Design Principles: Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Responsive Design: Understanding of mobile-first design principles and how designs adapt across different screen sizes.
Nice to Have (But Not Required):
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS (to understand developer constraints).
- Experience with Webflow, WordPress, or Elementor.
- Familiarity with user testing tools (e.g., Maze, UsabilityHub).
Soft Skills (Crucial):
- Attention to Detail: You obsess over pixel-perfect alignment, spacing, and consistency.
- Receptiveness to Feedback: You don't take criticism personally and are excited to iterate on your work.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

- Before we proceed, We want to be completely transparent. This is a 3 to 6-month unpaid educational internship designed to provide hands-on training and portfolio-building opportunities.
