UG: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering,civil or a related discipline.
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Draftsman with 3–5 years of experience in the Engineering & Construction industry. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and layouts using AutoCAD or similar drafting software while coordinating with design and project teams to ensure timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D fabrication, assembly, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
- Create and revise engineering drawings based on project requirements and design inputs.
- Interpret engineering specifications, P&IDs, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with design, production, and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Maintain drawing revisions and document control as per company standards.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable engineering standards and project specifications.
- Support engineers in preparing layouts, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical documentation.
- Assist in resolving drawing-related issues during fabrication and site execution.
- Use AI tools where applicable to improve drafting efficiency and documentation quality.
Required Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman in the Engineering & Construction industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D). Knowledge of SolidWorks, Inventor, or other 3D CAD software will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of mechanical fabrication drawings, piping layouts, and engineering standards.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Basic knowledge of AI tools for drafting and documentation will be preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
