Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Android Developer with 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Kotlin, MVVM Architecture, Android best practices, and modern development tools. The candidate should be technically strong, capable of leading development efforts, writing clean and maintainable code, and leveraging AI-powered development tools to improve productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance Android applications.
- Build scalable and maintainable applications using Kotlin and MVVM Architecture.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following Android best practices.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA, and product teams.
- Optimize application performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency.
- Identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security issues.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Estimate development efforts and meet project deadlines.
- Stay updated with the latest Android technologies and recommend improvements.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on Android development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
- Excellent understanding of MVVM Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack Components, Android Studio, and Gradle.
- Experience with Coroutines, Flow, LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation Component, Room Database, and WorkManager.
- Strong experience integrating REST APIs and handling JSON.
- Good understanding of dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger).
- Experience with Firebase services.
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
- Experience with Git and version control workflows.
Testing & Quality
- Ability to write Unit Tests and UI/Instrumentation Tests.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing is a plus.
AI & Modern Development
- Hands-on experience using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, or similar.
- Ability to leverage AI tools for code generation, debugging, documentation, test case creation, and productivity improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with modular architecture and clean architecture.
- Knowledge of app security best practices.
- Experience publishing and maintaining apps on Google Play Store.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

What We're Looking For
We are seeking a passionate Android developer who is technically excellent, writes high-quality and well-tested code, embraces modern Android development practices, and effectively utilizes AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining code quality.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
