- Design Validation & Simulation: Perform FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and stress analysis within SolidWorks to validate design integrity.
- Technical Documentation & BOMs: Develop and maintain accurate engineering documentation, including Bills of Materials, assembly instructions, and revision control.
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM/DFA): Ensure designs are efficient for production, collaborating with manufacturing teams on sheet metal, molding, or machining requirements.
- GD&T Application: Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing to drawings to ensure proper fit, form, and function.
- Modification & Innovation: Revise existing designs to improve performance, reduce costs, or incorporate new technology.
