Job Summary
Drive sales of readymade garments and apparel products to institutional buyers, retail chains and wholesale distributors. Manage buyer visits, sample approvals and order fulfilment coordination while developing new accounts and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit retail garment shops, boutiques, institutions and wholesale buyers.
- Present garment catalogues, samples and seasonal collections.
- Negotiate price, quantity, payment terms and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate sample approvals between buyers and production teams.
- Follow up on order placement, bulk production status and dispatch.
- Develop new buyer accounts in target markets.
- Manage credit accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Execute display and merchandising activities at retail touchpoints.
Requirements
- Any Graduate; apparel or textile knowledge preferred.
- 0–4 years of experience in garment or apparel sales.
- Knowledge of garment fit, fabric, sizing and current trends.
- Buyer relationship management skills.
- Sample and catalogue presentation skills.
- Order booking and customer follow-up skills.
- Payment follow-up and basic retail merchandising knowledge.
- Tamil and basic English communication skills.
Pay: ₹20,800.00 - ₹33,300.00 per month
