Job Description: Manager Purchase
Job Summary:
The Executive Purchase is responsible for efficiently procuring goods, materials, and services
for the organization. This role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing
vendor relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supplier Sourcing:
Research and identify potential suppliers to meet the organization's procurement
needs.
2. Negotiation:
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favourable
contracts while maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness.
3. Purchase Orders:
Generate, review, and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and
compliance with company policies and procedures.
4. Inventory Management:
Monitor and control inventory levels, optimizing stock levels to prevent
shortages and overstock situations.
5. Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with the quality control department to ensure purchased items meet
the required quality standards.
6. Compliance:
Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to legal and regulatory
requirements and company policies.
7. Cost Analysis:
Analyse supplier quotations and proposals to identify cost-effective procurement
options.
8. Budget Management:
Work within allocated budgets, seeking cost-effective solutions to meet the
organization's procurement needs.
9. Vendor Performance:
Evaluate supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and
take corrective actions when necessary.
10. Market Research:
Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and changes in
supplier pricing and availability.
11. Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, spending analysis, and cost
savings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
Proven experience as a Executive Purchase or in a similar procurement role.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of procurement best practices and market trends.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Pay: ₹83,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
