Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Assistant Manager – Warranty to manage warranty operations, claim processing, customer support, and coordination with service teams and OEMs. The candidate will ensure timely warranty claim submissions, approvals, and closures while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end warranty claim processes and documentation.
- Review, verify, and submit warranty claims to manufacturers/OEMs.
- Track claim status and ensure timely approvals and settlements.
- Coordinate with service engineers, customers, and vendors regarding warranty-related issues.
- Maintain accurate warranty records, reports, and databases.
- Analyze warranty failures and provide corrective action recommendations.
- Monitor claim rejection rates and implement improvement measures.
- Ensure compliance with company and OEM warranty policies.
- Prepare monthly warranty performance and MIS reports.
- Lead and guide the warranty team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Handle customer escalations related to warranty claims and service support.
- Coordinate with inventory and service departments for replacement parts under warranty.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile, or related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in warranty management, service operations, or after-sales support.
- Strong knowledge of warranty claim processing and documentation.
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and reporting tools.
- Ability to manage teams and work under deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Generator, Automobile, Equipment, or Engineering Service Industry.
- Knowledge of OEM warranty procedures and service operations.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
