ob Summary:
The Production Head – Rice Unit will be responsible for overseeing the entire rice production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, cost control, and timely delivery. This role involves strategic planning, team management, process optimization, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning & Operations
- Develop and execute production plans to meet business targets.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all production processes in alignment with quality and safety standards.
- Monitor daily production activities and resolve operational issues promptly.
2. Team Leadership & Workforce Management
- Lead, train, and mentor the production team to improve efficiency and performance.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to supervisors and production staff.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
3. Process Optimization & Cost Control
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
- Monitor and control production costs, reducing waste and inefficiencies.
- Ensure optimal utilization of raw materials and resources.
4. Equipment Maintenance
· Oversee the maintenance and servicing of production equipment to prevent breakdowns.
6. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
- Work closely with the procurement team to ensure a steady supply of raw materials.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for efficient storage and dispatch.
7. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, wastage, and quality control data.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
In-depth knowledge of rice milling, processing, and packaging
Familiarity with industry regulations, safety protocols, and quality management systems
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
