Mechanical Engineer – Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer with experience in industrial equipment, enclosure design, and hydraulic systems. The candidate will be responsible for mechanical design, component selection, fabrication coordination, and customer support activities related to engineered systems and panel assemblies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and development of:
- Panel enclosures
- Manifolds
- Hydraulic systems
- Mechanical assemblies and fabrication parts
- Preparation of:
- Mechanical drawings
- Manufacturing drawings
- Assembly drawings
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Basic design and understanding of:
- Hydraulic systems
- Pneumatic systems
- Mechanical integration with electrical control systems
- Component selection for mechanical and hydraulic applications
- Coordination with vendors for:
- Incoming enclosures
- Machining components
- Fabrication parts
- Review and verification of incoming mechanical parts and assemblies
- Understanding of schematics and control systems for equipment integration
- Support production, assembly, and testing activities
- Customer interaction for technical discussions and project coordination
- Maintain project documentation and engineering records
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2 to 5 years of relevant industry experience
- Proficiency in:
- SolidWorks
- Mechanical drafting and 3D modeling
- Knowledge of:
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Manufacturing and machining processes
- Industrial enclosure fabrication
- Ability to prepare BOMs and technical documentation
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Self-driven, disciplined, and capable of handling responsibilities independently
Preferred / Optional Skills
- Experience with sheet metal and enclosure design
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Exposure to industrial automation systems
- Vendor development and quality inspection experience
Pay: ₹10,500.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
