Position: Business Development Manager – Drone Services (Agriculture)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional for the position of Business Development Manager – Drone Services. The candidate will be responsible for driving business growth for agricultural drone services including drone spraying operations across assigned territories. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in agri-service sales, institutional business development, and a strong network within fertilizer, pesticide, and contract farming sectors.
The role requires expertise in sales strategy planning, revenue generation, client relationship management, and handling large agri institutional accounts while ensuring achievement of national sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and business development activities for agricultural drone spraying services across assigned regions.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve national sales and revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fertilizer companies, pesticide companies, agri-input dealers, FPOs, and contract farming organizations.
- Identify and acquire large agri institutional clients, corporate farming accounts, and government agriculture projects.
- Promote drone spraying services and educate customers on operational and commercial benefits.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and service demonstrations.
- Coordinate with operations teams for smooth execution of drone service activities.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
- Prepare sales MIS reports, pipeline tracking, and revenue forecasting reports.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term relationship management.
- Support business expansion initiatives across territories and regions.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Experience in selling drone services and agricultural spraying services
- Strong network within fertilizer, pesticide, agri-input, and contract farming sectors

Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in agri-sales, agri-services, drone services, or related industry
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Existing network in agriculture and agri-input industry
- Experience handling institutional and corporate farming clients
- Strong understanding of agricultural markets and farming ecosystem
- Willingness to travel extensively for business development activities
