Job Overview
Alara Lakehouse is seeking an experienced and dynamic Resort Manager to oversee the daily operations of our property. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences, efficient management of staff, and smooth functioning of all resort departments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day resort operations, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance
Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by delivering excellent customer service
Supervise, train, and motivate staff to maintain service standards
Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Monitor budgets, expenses, and revenue to achieve financial targets
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for smooth operations
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with local regulations
Develop and implement strategies to improve occupancy and guest experience
Requirements
Proven experience in hotel or resort management, hospitality management, or related field
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to handle pressure and multitask effectively
Basic knowledge of budgeting and operational planning
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related discipline
Prior experience in managing boutique resorts or lakefront properties
