About the Role
We are looking for an experienced OT Network Architect / Design Lead to design and develop robust, secure, and highly available OT/SCADA network architectures for industrial and critical-infrastructure environments.
The candidate will be responsible for network architecture, segmentation, redundancy, fiber network topology, IP addressing, VLAN design, technical documentation, equipment specifications, and coordination with civil, electrical, SCADA, and implementation teams.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience designing industrial OT networks, redundant network architectures, Cisco infrastructure, and SCADA/ICS environments.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Telecommunications Engineering
- Information Technology
- or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of network architecture/design experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in OT, industrial networking, SCADA, ICS, or critical infrastructure environments.
- Demonstrated experience designing redundant industrial networks.
- Strong experience with fiber-based network architectures and industrial Ethernet.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Experience producing detailed network architecture and engineering documentation.

Knowledge of SCADA, PLC, DCS, BMS, or other industrial control environments is preferred.
Cybersecurity Knowledge
- Understanding of IEC 62443 principles.
- OT network segmentation.
- Industrial DMZ architecture.
- Security zones and conduits.
- Firewall placement and network security boundaries.
- Secure remote access.
- OT cybersecurity best practices.
- Understanding of industrial cybersecurity risks and controls.
The ideal candidate is a network architect with strong industrial/OT experience, rather than a conventional enterprise network engineer.
The candidate should be able to independently design and document:
OT Architecture → Network Segmentation → Fiber Topology → Redundancy → IP/VLAN Plan → Communication Mapping → Equipment Specifications → Implementation Support
Candidates with experience in industrial automation, utilities, energy, manufacturing, transportation, data centers, process industries, critical infrastructure, or other OT environments will be strongly preferred.
