We are seeking a qualified and customer-focused Pharmacist to ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications while providing exceptional pharmaceutical care. The ideal candidate should possess sound knowledge of medicines, maintain regulatory compliance, and contribute to delivering quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with doctors' prescriptions.
- Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, contraindications, and patient safety.
- Counsel patients on the proper use of medications, dosage, side effects, storage, and precautions.
- Maintain inventory of medicines and medical consumables.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate procurement to prevent shortages.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines as per regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain records of narcotic and controlled drugs in compliance with legal requirements.
- Check expiry dates regularly and ensure timely removal of expired or damaged stock.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance within the pharmacy.
- Adhere to all pharmacy regulations, quality standards, and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) / Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
- Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration (Mandatory)
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy preferred.
- Fresh registered pharmacists are encouraged to apply.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology and drug dispensing.
- Familiarity with hospital pharmacy software and inventory systems.
- Excellent communication and patient counselling skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Inventory and stock management.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office and Pharmacy Management Software).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
