Job Summary
Sigachi Industries is seeking an experienced Chemist with hands-on expertise in Gas Chromatography (GC) analysis for its Quality Control Laboratory at the Dahej manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for performing analytical testing, ensuring compliance with GMP requirements, and maintaining laboratory documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine analysis using Gas Chromatography (GC).
- Conduct testing of raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and stability samples.
- Prepare analytical reports and maintain laboratory records as per GMP/GLP requirements.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain GC instruments and associated laboratory equipment.
- Review chromatograms and ensure accurate interpretation of analytical results.
- Prepare and standardize reagents, solutions, and reference standards.
- Participate in method validation, method transfer, and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, and laboratory safety requirements.
- Investigate Out of Specification (OOS) and Out of Trend (OOT) results as required.
- Maintain proper documentation, logbooks, worksheets, and analytical data records.
- Support regulatory audits, customer audits, and internal quality audits.
Required Skills
- Strong practical knowledge of Gas Chromatography (GC).
- Experience in pharmaceutical, API, excipient, or chemical QC laboratories.
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, data integrity, and laboratory documentation practices.
- Ability to interpret chromatographic data and troubleshoot analytical issues.
- Familiarity with analytical instruments and laboratory software.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualification & ExperienceEducational Qualification
- B.Sc. (Chemistry) or M.Sc. (Chemistry)
Experience
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in Quality Control Laboratory.
- Hands-on experience in operating and maintaining GC instruments is mandatory.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
