Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our fast-growing EdTech team in Kozhikode. The ideal candidate should have expertise in creating engaging educational videos, promotional content, YouTube videos, reels, and social media creatives. If you have a passion for visual storytelling and can transform raw footage into compelling content, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality educational videos, promotional videos, and social media content.
- Create engaging YouTube videos, Instagram Reels, Shorts, and marketing videos.
- Add motion graphics, animations, transitions, captions, and visual effects.
- Perform color correction, sound editing, and video optimization.
- Collaborate with content creators, mentors, presenters, and the marketing team.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality video content.
- Organize and maintain video assets and project files.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, AI tools, and social media trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Multimedia, Visual Communication, Animation, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience as a Video Editor, preferably in the EdTech industry.
- Strong proficiency in:
- CapCut
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and social media content formats.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- A strong portfolio showcasing previous editing work is mandatory.
