Job Description
We are looking for a QA/QC Technician for our Polymer Testing Lab. The candidate will be responsible for conducting quality testing of raw materials and finished polymer products to ensure compliance with industry and customer standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct physical and mechanical testing of polymer materials.
- Perform tests such as MFI, tensile, impact, and HDT/VST testing.
- Inspect incoming raw materials and finished products.
- Operate laboratory equipment including:
- MFI Tester
- Universal Testing Machine (UTM)
- Izod Impact Tester
- HDT/VST Apparatus
- Spectrophotometer
- Maintain testing records and quality documentation.
- Support quality audits and compliance activities.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. in Polymer Engineering, Chemical, Mechanical, or CIPET.
- 1–3 years of experience in QA/QC or polymer testing.
- Experience in plastics, polymer compounding, or masterbatch industry preferred.
- Basic understanding of testing standards and laboratory practices.
