A Hospital Store Executive is responsible for managing the inventory and supply chain of a hospital's stores or medical warehouse. The role ensures that medicines, medical consumables, equipment, and other supplies are available when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and inspecting medical supplies and materials.
- Maintaining stock records and inventory management systems.
- Issuing medicines, surgical items, and consumables to hospital departments.
- Monitoring stock levels and arranging timely replenishment.
- Conducting periodic stock audits and physical verification.
- Ensuring proper storage conditions for medicines and medical items.
- Coordinating with vendors, procurement teams, and hospital departments.
- Preparing reports related to stock movement, consumption, and shortages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field.
- Experience in stores, warehouse operations, or hospital inventory management is often preferred.
