Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Elevator Installation Technician / Lift Technician to join our installation team. The candidate will be responsible for the safe and proper installation, erection, alignment, wiring, and completion of elevator systems at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out elevator installation and erection work as per company standards and drawings.
- Install elevator guide rails, brackets, landing doors, car frame, counterweight frame, machine, ropes, and other lift components.
- Perform mechanical assembly, alignment, leveling, and fixing of elevator components.
- Carry out lift shaft measurements and verify site conditions before installation.
- Install and connect elevator electrical wiring as per wiring diagrams.
- Complete door operator, landing door, car door, safety circuit, and related installation work.
- Install and adjust elevator safety components and mechanical systems.
- Coordinate with the commissioning/testing team during final installation activities.
- Identify and rectify installation-related mechanical and electrical issues.
- Maintain proper safety procedures and housekeeping at the worksite.
- Coordinate with supervisors, site engineers, clients, and other team members.
- Complete installation work within the scheduled time.
- Prepare installation status reports and inform the supervisor about site requirements or issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or a related technical field preferred.
- 1–5 years of experience in elevator/lift installation or erection preferred.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered for Junior Technician positions.
- Good knowledge of mechanical tools and electrical hand tools.
- Ability to understand basic technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of lift installation procedures and safety practices.
- Ability to work at height and in different site conditions.
- Physically fit and willing to travel to different project locations.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Valid driving licence is an advantage.
Preferred Technical Experience
Candidates with experience in any of the following will be preferred:
- Guide rail installation and alignment
- Lift machine installation
- Car frame and counterweight installation
- Landing door installation and alignment
- Car door installation
- Wire rope installation
- Elevator wiring
- Door operator installation
- Safety circuit wiring
- Lift shaft measurement and inspection
- Elevator erection and installation
- Installation-to-commissioning handover

Pay: ₹30,454.00 - ₹50,987.00 per month
