A Copado Developer or DevOps Engineer manages Salesforce CICD pipelines automated testing and environment orchestration using the Copado platform Key responsibilities include implementing DevOps best practices managing Gitbased version control accelerating release cycles and reducing deployment errors Common requirements include Copado certification Salesforce expertise and Git knowledge
Key Responsibilities
CICD Management Set up configure and maintain Copado pipelines to automate deployment processes Metadata CPQ Data Deploy
Environment Git Operations Manage Salesforce sandbox environments and Gitbased version control branching merging resolving conflicts
Automation Testing Implement automated testing including Apex testing and Robot Framework within the CICD pipeline
Release Governance Oversee release planning coordinate across teams and enforce quality gates to ensure stable production releases
Monitoring Troubleshooting Monitor deployments analyze logs and resolve issues such as deployment errors or environment inconsistencies
Key Requirements
Technical Experience 3 years of experience in Salesforce DevOps specifically utilizing Copado
Platform Expertise Proficient understanding of Salesforce Metadata API DevOps methodologies and branching strategies Git
Tools Skills Experience with CLI XML SeleniumRobot Framework and CICD tools Jenkins GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps
Soft Skills Strong analytical troubleshooting and communication skills
