Job Purpose
The Transport Relationship Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing junior teams to ensure efficient rate management and strong transporter service quality. The role focuses on strategic negotiation to secure the "Best Price" and converting daily needs into fixed/bulk contracts, while strictly enforcing Turn Around Time (TAT) standards based on data analysis.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the daily performance and KPI achievement of all allocated Assistant Transport Relationship Managers (ATRMs).
- Monitor all vehicle Turn Around Times (TATs), focusing on quick vehicle detail receipt and on-time port arrival.
- Conduct next-level negotiation and finalization of transport rates, especially when ATRMs cannot secure competitive bids.
- Lead the implementation of the fixed order system and ensure allocation based on transporter grade.
- Resolve critical transporter complaints to maintain transporter trust.
- Analyze complex transport reports and lead internal training sessions to enhance team clarity for ATRMs.
- Provide practical SOP input on complex issues like vehicle wait times and unloading delays to the Transport Manager.
- Education: HSC/Diploma/Graduate with knowledge
- Experience: 3-7 years of experience in transport and traffic operations.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
