Summary:
As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications using ABAP Object-Oriented Programming to meet business process and application requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop scalable, high-performance solutions. This role is ideal for experienced ABAP developers who are interested in expanding their expertise into SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) through structured training and hands-on project exposure.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design and develop applications using ABAP Object-Oriented Programming.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize application performance and ensure usability across SAP environments.
- Troubleshoot and debug ABAP code to resolve issues and enhance functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Engage in SAP MDG training and shadowing to build proficiency in:
- MDG data modeling and workflow design.
- BRF+ rule configuration and validations.
- Integration with SAP ECC/S4HANA and external systems (ALE/IDOC, Web Services, PI/PO).
- Custom data models, attributes, and SMT mapping.
- Support MDG implementation tasks under guidance from senior consultants.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must Have:
- Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP and Object-Oriented Development.
- Solid understanding of application development methodologies.
- Experience integrating applications with various data sources.
- Skilled in performance tuning and issue resolution.
- Willingness to undergo structured training in SAP MDG.
- Nice to Have / Will Be Trained In:
- SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) tools and frameworks.
- BRF+, ALE/IDOC, PI/PO integration techniques.
- MDG-specific data governance policies and standards.
Additional Information:
- Minimum 6.5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- A 15 year full-time education is required.
