Job Summary
The Store Executive will be responsible for managing all store and inventory activities at the construction site, ensuring proper receipt, storage, issuance, and record maintenance of construction materials, tools, equipment, and consumables required for project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive construction materials, tools, machinery parts, and consumables at the site.
- Verify materials against Purchase Orders (PO), delivery challans, and invoices.
- Maintain accurate records of inward and outward material movement.
- Issue materials to site engineers, supervisors, and contractors against approved requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels and inform management regarding replenishment requirements.
- Maintain daily stock registers and inventory reports.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory records.
- Ensure proper storage and preservation of cement, steel, electrical items, plumbing materials, hardware, and other construction materials.
- Track returnable materials, tools, shuttering items, and equipment.
- Coordinate with the Procurement and Project teams for timely material availability.
- Prepare and maintain GRNs, material issue slips, stock statements, and consumption reports.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety, and security of the store area.
- Assist during internal and external inventory audits.
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Diploma in Material Management/Store Management will be preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in store management at construction, infrastructure
- Experience in handling construction materials and site inventory is mandatory.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of construction materials and inventory control.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Inventory Management Software.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Strong coordination and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work at project sites and manage multiple material categories.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
