Job Summary:
A Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers quickly and accurately, ensuring a smooth dining experience. They act as a link between the kitchen and service staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up food orders from the kitchen and deliver them to the correct tables
- Ensure all dishes are complete, correctly plated, and match the order
- Assist servers and kitchen staff during busy hours
- Communicate customer requests or issues to servers or kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness in service areas and dining space
- Help in clearing tables when required
- Ensure food is served at the right temperature and presentation standards
Required Skills:
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of food items and menu
- Teamwork and positive attitude
- Physical stamina (standing/walking for long hours)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma (preferred but not mandatory)
- Prior experience in a restaurant/hospitality role is a plus
Working Conditions:

Salary (India – Approx):
- ₹10,000 – ₹18,000/month (can vary by city & restaurant)
- Tips and service charges may be additional
