About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive/Intern to manage the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of our coworking space. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and experience in handling financial records, billing, and vendor payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries.
- Generate and manage client invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Process vendor bills, reimbursements, and payments.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare GST invoices and assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
- Record daily transactions in accounting software (Tally/Zoho Books or similar).
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Coordinate with auditors, CAs, and other financial consultants during audits.
- Maintain records of rent, deposits, utility bills, and operational expenses.
- Support budget planning and expense tracking.
- Ensure timely documentation and compliance with company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in accounting or finance (experience in coworking, real estate, or hospitality is preferred).
- Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, MS Excel, and accounting principles.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with billing and client account management.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with coworking or facility management operations is an added advantage.
