Job Summary
As an SAP FSM (Field Service Management) Technical and Functional Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful implementation, customization, and optimization of SAP FSM solutions for our global clients. Your expertise will bridge technical and functional domains, ensuring that business requirements are translated into robust, scalable, and innovative solutions aligned with HCLTech’s commitment to client satisfaction and operational excellence.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and participate in end-to-end SAP FSM (Field Service Management) solution implementations, including requirements gathering, system configuration, integration, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to analyze business processes and design effective SAP FSM solutions that address client needs.
- Develop functional specifications and technical documentation to support customizations, enhancements, and integrations with other SAP modules or third-party systems.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and optimize issues within SAP FSM, ensuring high system performance and user satisfaction.
- Provide expert-level support during project go-lives and post-implementation phases.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and user demonstrations to facilitate knowledge transfer and user adoption.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP FSM releases, best practices, and industry trends to continuously enhance solution offerings.
- Support project management activities, including status reporting, risk identification, and mitigation planning.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of SAP FSM architecture, configuration, and integration with SAP ECC/S4HANA and other relevant modules.
- Proficiency in developing functional and technical specifications, process mapping, and solution design.
- Hands-on experience with SAP-related tools, APIs, and middleware integration.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- SAP FSM certification or equivalent credentials are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
1. To architect| design and develop (through Team) solution for product/project & sustenance delivery
2. To support as an Subject Matter Expert
3. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements
4. Ensuring a sufficient pool of skilled professionals in the designated technology, through activities such as conducting interviews, providing training sessions and offering mentorship.
5. To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology.
6. To support competency development with envisioning and articulating propositions â building collaterals/ whitepaper creation, market trend analysis etc.
7. To recommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices (on specific technology/product)
