We are hiring a Production Engineer with experience in manufacturing and fabrication to support daily production operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities and shop floor operations.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and production targets.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Support fabrication, welding, assembly, and installation activities.
- Implement process improvements, root cause analysis, and KAIZEN initiatives.
- Maintain production records and ISO documentation.
- Coordinate with Quality, Stores, and other departments.
- Inspect finished products before QA handover.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and production procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical/Plastic Technology or BE Mechanical.
- 4–7 years of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of fabrication, welding, assembly, and production processes.
- Experience with shop floor management and manpower supervision.
- Familiarity with Lathe, Milling, and Drilling machines.
- Understanding of quality systems and production documentation.
Preferred Background
Industrial Machinery, Heavy Engineering, Structural Fabrication, Material Handling Equipment, Conveyors, Cranes, Mechanical Equipment Manufacturing, or similar industries.
Not Preferred: Candidates with experience limited to automobile vehicle assembly.
