Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Executive (BDE) with mandatory EdTech sales experience to drive student enrollments and business growth. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in lead conversion, client relationship management, and achieving sales targets in the education industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities through inbound and outbound sales activities.
- Connect with prospective students and clients via calls, WhatsApp, emails, and virtual meetings.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
Sales & Lead Conversion
- Convert qualified leads into enrollments by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable programs.
- Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.
- Prepare proposals and close business opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with prospective students, parents, and institutional partners.
- Ensure a smooth and positive admission experience from inquiry to enrollment.
Lead & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate lead records and sales activities in the CRM.
- Conduct timely follow-ups to maximize conversion rates.
- Track and update lead status regularly.
Market Awareness
- Stay updated on EdTech trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments.
- Share market insights to improve sales strategies.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Marketing, Admissions, and Operations teams to achieve business goals and improve customer experience.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong sales and lead conversion abilities.
- Experience using CRM tools (Zoho CRM preferred).
- Target-oriented with strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of Business Development or Inside Sales experience in the EdTech industry (Mandatory).
- Proven experience in lead generation, admissions, or education sales.
- Strong understanding of the student enrollment process.
