2D Game Asset Designer Haber Games is looking for a talented and creative 2D Game Asset Designer to join our team. At Haber Games, we’re building a large-scale gaming platform featuring 100+ unique 2D games powered by the Phaser engine. We are seeking a designer who can create exceptional visuals and game assets that bring these experiences to life. Responsibilities - Design high-quality 2D game assets, including characters, objects, icons, buttons, backgrounds, and illustrations. - Create intuitive and visually appealing game UI/UX screens and layouts. - Prepare assets for implementation, including spritesheets, texture atlases, animations, and organized file structures. - Collaborate closely with developers to ensure assets are optimized and integrated smoothly into the game engine. - Maintain a consistent visual style across multiple games. - Convert concepts and ideas into polished, production-ready assets. - Continuously refine designs based on feedback and playtesting. Requirements - Strong portfolio showcasing 2D game art or mobile game projects. - Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent software. - Good understanding of game asset pipelines, including spritesheets, texture atlases, and animation workflows. - Familiarity with Phaser or similar 2D game engines is an advantage. - Strong sense of color, composition, typography, and visual hierarchy. - Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
