NewLaVie, a US based Company is seeking LED Lighting Applications Engineers to be part of our Satellite office team in Srinagar / Delhi. This role sits at the intersection of technical design and client-facing project execution. You will match architectural specified fixtures to NewLaVie products and provide detailed product specifications into optimized, code-compliant lighting solutions for our commercial and industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Design:
Create comprehensive lighting layouts and fixture schedules utilizing AutoCAD and Revit (BIM).
Product Specification:
Analyze architectural drawings to recommend appropriate LED fixtures, drivers, optics, and smart control systems.
Energy Code Compliance:
Ensure all project designs strictly comply with California Title 24, ASHRAE 90.1, and LEED standards.
Sales Support:
Act as the primary technical subject matter expert during client pitches, helping the sales team secure project wins.
Takeoffs:
Work with manufacturing and OEMs to finalize the specifications as per customer requirement.
Driver Optimization:
Select appropriate driver / driving schematics that works seamlessly with customer control systems.
Compliance Engineering:
Verify that hardware aligns with industry standards such as UL, CE, Energy Star, FCC, and regional building energy codes.
Technical Documentation: Write clear product specifications, test plans, engineering change orders (ECOs), bills of materials (BOMs), and product manuals.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a highly related technical discipline. NewLaVie LLC 177 Park Ave, San Jose, CA USA
Software Proficiency:
Experience with design and simulation tools like Altium Designer, AutoCAD, OrCAD, SPICE, or MATLAB.
Technical Core:
Deep understanding of power electronics, circuit protection, dimming protocols (0-10V, DALI, PWM), and microcontroller programming.
Experience:
A 2–5 years of dedicated experience in lighting design, optical applications, or electrical engineering will be preferred. However, recent graduates with excellent computer skills may be considered.
Soft Skills:
Strong presentation and technical writing capabilities to confidently explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
Controls Knowledge:
Experience with smart lighting ecosystems, DALI, 0-10V dimming protocols, and IoT mesh networks.
Pay: ₹19,165.86 - ₹100,000.00 per month
