We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mechanical Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical design principles, proficiency in drafting software, and the ability to work and create accurate and functional mechanical designs. You will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings, schematics, and designs that will contribute to the development of innovative mechanical systems and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for mechanical systems and components.
- Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate drafts.
- Create 2D and 3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Review design plans and make necessary revisions to improve accuracy, functionality, and manufacturability.
- Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and specifications.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure that designs can be produced as specified.
- Maintain accurate records of design changes and revisions.
- Perform quality control checks on completed drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
Qualifications:
- ITI or Diploma required.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman or in a similar role.
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools).
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and design principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with engineers and other departments.
- Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations is a plus.
