Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and light food items while delivering an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Typical barista responsibilities include beverage preparation, customer interaction, cash handling, and maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, mocktails, and other menu items according to standard recipes.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and provide menu recommendations.
- Ensure high standards of product quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Handle billing, cash, and digital payment transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the café, workstations, equipment, and seating areas.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management and replenishment.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist in opening and closing duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Barista in a café, restaurant, hotel, or QSR.
- Knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic POS and cash-handling knowledge.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light-to-moderate weights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Barista Training or Specialty Coffee.
- Experience with specialty coffee concepts and artisanal brewing methods.
- Knowledge of beverage costing and inventory control.
- Experience in premium cafés, hotels, or fine-dining establishments.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
