Job Title: Procurement Associate
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Associate to manage the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services required by the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying reliable suppliers, obtaining competitive quotations, processing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate procurement records while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Supplier Management
Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential suppliers based on quality, pricing, and delivery performance.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve the best value for the organization.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with company standards.
Request for Proposals (RFPs) & Quotations
Prepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and other procurement documents.
Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors.
Evaluate vendor proposals based on cost, quality, delivery timelines, and reliability.
Recommend the most suitable suppliers based on procurement requirements.
Purchase Order Management
Create and process purchase orders in accordance with company procurement policies.
Track purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
Resolve order-related issues, including delays, discrepancies, and quality concerns.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure procurement requirements are fulfilled efficiently.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing documentation.
Prepare procurement reports and maintain records for audits and management review.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve procurement processes and workflow efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Procurement software.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of procurement best practices and vendor evaluation.
Ability to manage multiple purchase requests and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Team player with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
