About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and creative Marketing & Growth Intern to support our day-to-day marketing, outreach, and growth initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across different areas of marketing rather than focusing on just one channel. You will help us execute email campaigns, manage LinkedIn activity, reach out to prospective customers, improve our online presence, gather customer reviews, and identify new ways to improve user engagement and the overall customer experience.
We are looking for someone who can both execute consistently and think independently. You should be comfortable taking ownership of recurring marketing activities while also suggesting new ideas, improvements, and experiments that could help us grow.
What You’ll Do
- Email Marketing & Outreach
- Help plan, create, and execute email marketing and outreach campaigns.
- Use platforms such as Brevo (or similar platforms) to create campaigns, manage contact lists, segment audiences, and track performance.
- Support outbound outreach to prospective customers and business leads.
- Write and refine email copy, subject lines, follow-ups, and campaign messaging.
- Monitor campaign metrics such as open rates, click rates, replies, and conversions.
- Suggest improvements based on campaign performance.
- Maintain organized prospect and campaign databases.
LinkedIn & Social Media
- Help manage company and founder LinkedIn accounts.
- Create and schedule posts related to products, use cases, customer problems, product updates, and industry topics.
- Identify relevant communities, companies, decision-makers, and potential customers on LinkedIn.
- Support direct outreach and engagement with relevant prospects.
- Engage thoughtfully with relevant posts, discussions, and industry content.
- Help grow the visibility and credibility of our brands organically.
- Track which types of content and outreach generate the strongest engagement.
Customer Reviews & Reputation
- Help develop and execute strategies for generating authentic customer reviews.
- Identify appropriate moments in the customer journey to request reviews and feedback.
- Coordinate review requests through email and other communication channels.
- Track reviews across relevant platforms.
- Help turn positive customer feedback into testimonials, case studies, or marketing content where appropriate.
- Identify recurring customer feedback that can help improve our product or marketing.
Website & User Experience Improvements
Marketing for us is not limited to advertising.
You will also be encouraged to look at our products and websites from a potential customer's perspective and suggest ways to improve the experience.
This may include:
- Reviewing website pages and identifying confusing messaging or navigation.
- Suggesting improvements to signup and onboarding flows.
- Identifying points where potential customers may drop off.
- Suggesting stronger calls-to-action.
- Improving how product features and benefits are communicated.
- Reviewing competitor websites and onboarding experiences for ideas.
- Suggesting experiments that could improve trial activation, engagement, or conversion.
You do not need to be a UX designer, but you should have a strong instinct for identifying when something feels confusing or unnecessarily complicated.
Research & Growth Experiments
- Research new marketing channels and outreach opportunities.
- Identify relevant businesses, communities, directories, marketplaces, and partnerships.
- Conduct competitor and market research.
- Help identify keywords, content topics, and customer pain points.
- Suggest creative campaigns and growth experiments.
- Explore new tools, including AI-powered marketing tools, that could improve our marketing workflow.
- Test different messaging, audiences, and outreach approaches and document what works.
Content Support
- Help create short-form marketing content for LinkedIn, email, websites, and other channels.
- Turn product features into simple customer-focused messaging.
- Help create use cases, FAQs, short product explanations, and promotional content.
- Work with the team to communicate technical products in a simple and relatable way.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- Proactive and comfortable taking initiative.
- Creative and willing to suggest new ideas.
- Organized and able to manage recurring marketing activities independently.
- Comfortable writing professional English.
- Interested in digital marketing, SaaS, technology, and growth.
- Comfortable learning new software and marketing tools.
- Able to research independently rather than waiting for detailed instructions for every task.
- Detail-oriented when managing campaigns, contact lists, and communications.
- Comfortable analyzing basic marketing metrics and using them to improve future campaigns.
- Interested in understanding customer behavior and user experience.
Tools You May Work With
Experience with these tools is helpful but not mandatory:
- Brevo
- LinkedIn
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Canva
- Google Analytics
- Google Search Console
- Google Sheets
- CRM and lead-generation tools
- AI tools such as ChatGPT and other marketing/productivity tools
We are more interested in your ability to learn, experiment, and execute consistently than experience with every individual platform.
What We Value
We value people who do more than complete assigned tasks.
For example, instead of simply sending an email campaign, we want someone who asks:
- Is this the right audience?
- Can we improve the subject line?
- Why did one campaign perform better than another?
- Should we change the follow-up?
- Are we reaching customers through the right channel?
- Is something on the website making the product difficult to understand?
- How can we make the signup or trial experience easier?
- Is there a creative way to encourage happy customers to leave reviews?
- What are competitors doing that we could learn from?
- What new marketing experiment should we try next?
