We are seeking a Mechanical Draftsman with hands-on experience in static process equipment to support design and drafting activities. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering drawings in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare GA, fabrication, and assembly drawings for static process equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, tanks, and reactors
• Develop 2D drawings using AutoCAD (3D knowledge is an advantage)
• Interpret P&IDs, process data sheets, and design calculations
• Coordinate with design engineers, production, and quality teams
• Revise drawings based on engineering changes and site feedback
• Ensure drawings comply with ASME, API, and client standards
• Maintain drawing documentation and version control
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering / Draftsmanship
• Minimum 2 years of experience in static process equipment drafting
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Good knowledge of fabrication practices and material specifications
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and standards
• Attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Skills
• Exposure to pressure vessel design standards (ASME Section VIII)
• Experience working in manufacturing or EPC environment
• Basic knowledge of 3D software (SolidWorks / Inventor – optional).
Experience: 2–5 years (preferred)
