Role Summary
A UK and Pan-european real estate company with a newly located office in Bengalaru, India is seeking to recruit a talented management account with a solid background in property/ rent accounting, with full working knowledge of GAAP for UK. Prior professional experience with a UK-based real estate asset management company is a major advantage.
The role is suitable for a qualified accountant who wishes to develop their accounting career with an all-round 360 responsibility and an opportunity for exponential growth supporting a fast-growing company in Europe. The candidate will work in conjunction with our UK finance team.
We are seeking to recruit a detail-oriented and qualified Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate holds a recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CA, CPA, or CIMA) and has hands-on experience with statutory reporting, reconciliations, and audit support. Excellent written and spoken English is required, with a strong preference for candidates who have prior experience servicing clients or stakeholders in the real estate asset management business based in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, ledger entries, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Perform bank, vendor, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Handle investor-facing reporting of monthly management accounts.
- Prepare accounting papers for quarterly board meetings under guidance from Group FD.
- Handle VAT processing.
- Prepare corporate tax returns under guidance of Group Finance Director and CFO.
- Support internal and external audits, providing documentation and analysis as required.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and collections.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support business decision-making under guideance of UK finance teammatters.accuracy.
- Liaise with UK and EU-based clients, auditors, and finance teams on reporting and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting.
- Assist with payroll processing and statutory filings where required.
- Handle expense management, accounts payable, supplier management.
Salary: INR 3,000,000 + an annual bonus opportunity based on performance
Start Date: 17th August
