Job Summary
The AC technician responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems and equipment used in Hotel Industry to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems in guest rooms and all hotel areas.
- Perform preventive maintenance as per the maintenance schedule to ensure uninterrupted operation of HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on split ACs, VRF/VRV systems, package units, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, exhaust fans, and ventilation systems.
- Monitor and maintain the performance of HVAC systems to ensure guest comfort and energy efficiency.
- Attend guest complaints related to air conditioning promptly and resolve issues within the stipulated time.
- Check refrigerant levels, identify leaks, and carry out gas charging and leak rectification as required.
- Clean and replace air filters, coils, condensers, evaporators, and other HVAC components.
- Maintain electrical and mechanical components of HVAC equipment, including motors, compressors, thermostats, and control panels.
- Record maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and spare parts consumption in maintenance logs.
- Coordinate with the Engineering/Maintenance Manager for major repairs and equipment replacement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hotel SOPs, and statutory requirements while performing maintenance work.
- Maintain proper housekeeping of the workshop, plant room, and work areas.
- Ensure the availability of essential tools, consumables, and spare parts required for maintenance activities.
- Assist during emergency breakdowns and be available for shift duties, weekends, holidays, and on-call maintenance when required.
- Support other engineering and maintenance activities as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- ITI/Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC, or Electrical.
- 2–3 years of experience in hotel, hospitality, commercial buildings, or facility management.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.
- Good troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts and respond to emergency maintenance calls.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
