We are looking for an experienced and responsible Hospital Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and infection control throughout the hospital.
The ideal candidate should have strong team-management skills, good knowledge of hospital housekeeping procedures, and the ability to coordinate effectively with nursing, administration, maintenance, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage housekeeping staff and daily shift activities.
- Allocate duties and prepare staff schedules according to hospital requirements.
- Ensure cleanliness of patient rooms, wards, OPD areas, ICU, OT support areas, corridors, offices, washrooms, and common areas.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure housekeeping standards are consistently maintained.
- Ensure compliance with hospital hygiene and infection-control procedures.
- Train housekeeping staff on cleaning methods, safety procedures, chemical handling, and hospital protocols.
- Monitor proper use, storage, and availability of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and consumables.
- Maintain housekeeping checklists, attendance records, inspection reports, and daily activity reports.
- Coordinate with Nursing, Administration, Maintenance, Security, and other departments.
- Monitor hospital linen and housekeeping-related requirements.
- Handle housekeeping complaints from patients, attendants, and hospital staff and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure proper waste-handling practices in coordination with hospital infection-control procedures.
- Monitor staff performance, discipline, attendance, and grooming standards.
- Ensure deep-cleaning schedules are completed on time.
- Support hospital quality and accreditation requirements, including NABH-related housekeeping standards where applicable.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in hospital housekeeping, facility management, healthcare support services, or a similar role.
- Candidates with 3–5+ years of hospital housekeeping supervisory experience will be preferred.
- Experience in a multispeciality hospital will be an advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
