Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced UI5 React Developer with 5+ years of strong front-end development experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise web applications. The candidate should have strong expertise in React.js, SAP UI5/OpenUI5, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality, responsive, and performance-oriented user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, responsive, and reusable front-end applications using React.js and SAP UI5/OpenUI5.
- Lead front-end development activities and take ownership of UI architecture and technical implementation.
- Build reusable React components, UI5 controls, views, fragments, and application layouts.
- Convert business requirements and UI/UX designs into efficient and maintainable front-end solutions.
- Implement complex UI features including routing, state management, forms, validations, tables, dialogs, filters, and dynamic components.
- Integrate applications with REST APIs and OData services and manage asynchronous data flows.
- Apply front-end design patterns and best practices to build modular and maintainable applications.
- Optimize application performance, page load time, rendering, and API interactions.
- Ensure responsive design, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and consistent user experience.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot complex UI, browser, integration, and performance issues.
- Develop unit and integration tests for front-end components.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product owners, business analysts, and backend developers.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, estimation, technical discussions, and solution design.
- Contribute to coding standards, development guidelines, reusable frameworks, and front-end best practices.
Required Technical Skills
- 5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with React.js.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong experience with SAP UI5/OpenUI5.
- Excellent understanding of React Hooks, component architecture, state management, and reusable components.
- Experience with React Router and state-management solutions.
- Strong experience integrating REST APIs and OData services.
- Good knowledge of JSON, asynchronous JavaScript, promises, and API handling.
- Strong understanding of responsive web development and modern UI/UX principles.
- Experience with Git, npm, Vite/Webpack, and modern front-end development tools.
- Strong debugging and browser developer-tools experience.
- Understanding of front-end security, accessibility, and performance optimization.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of **SAP Fiori and
