Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Desktop Engineer with 2+ of experience to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing desktop environments, supporting end users, and performing system and application to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, software, and hardware.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Perform system testing, application testing, and troubleshooting to ensure system stability.
- Manage operating system installations, upgrades, and patches.
- Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in Desktop Engineering / Desktop Support.
- Experience in software testing, system testing, or QA processes.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, desktop hardware, and networking basics.
- Experience with Active Directory, SCCM, or similar tools.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with automation testing tools is an advantage.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Certification in Microsoft, CompTIA, or related technologies is a plus.
