We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Student Visa Counsellor – Visa Interview Trainer & SOP Writer to join our Study Abroad team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of international education systems, student visa processes, and visa interview preparation. The candidate will be responsible for guiding students through their visa journey, conducting mock interviews, and crafting compelling Statements of Purpose (SOPs) and other academic documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive visa interview preparation and mock interview sessions for students.
- Train students to confidently handle visa interviews and improve their chances of visa approval.
- Draft, review, and edit high-quality SOPs, GS/GTE statements, study plans, and other supporting documents.
- Provide personalized counselling regarding visa requirements and study abroad opportunities.
- Assess student profiles and recommend suitable study destinations and institutions.
- Stay updated with the latest immigration policies, visa regulations, and international education trends.
- Assist students throughout the visa application process and document preparation.
- Coordinate with counsellors and admissions teams to ensure smooth processing of applications.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in student visa counselling, visa interview training, or SOP writing.
- Strong SOP, academic writing, and communication skills.
- Excellent command of English (written and verbal).
- Thorough knowledge of study abroad admissions and visa processes for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, USA, and other major destinations.
- Ability to understand student profiles and create personalized documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in GS/GTE assessment and visa documentation.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple student cases simultaneously.
- Knowledge of immigration compliance and university admission requirements.
